Because I am currently unable to find the time to write lengthy quality prose, this blog is going to become a photographic meditation on the desert in which I live. Every week I will post a few related images accompanied by a haiku. (That's right, a haiku. You can write your own haiku in the comments section.) I'll also make a list identifying the images in the photos.

Don't forget that you can click on an image to enlarge it. Cheers!

I stop the noise
And accept on sight the new.
Sharp spines are poems.

2) Copper minerals found in tailings of abandoned mine.
3) Teddy bear cholla fruit.
4) Desert mistletoe.
5) The tip of a saguaro arm.
