What the bee noticed
Was a sweet purple flower.
The spider she missed.

The sky clouded over today so I trekked below Picket Post Mountain. I saw some colorful black-headed grosbeaks in a mesquite tree. Also saw a couple of horned lizards, including the little fellow I took the photo of. Also, there were queen butterflies, cardinals, doves, palo verde blooms, and a green lynx spider partaking of a honey bee. No rattlesnakes yet.
